The Honda ad's helped me convince my father that a 1964 Yamaha 80 was acceptable. He still wouldn't let me get the Harley 250, but the 1966 Honda 160 was acceptable.
Those ad's changed the face of motorcycling more than anyone imagined at the time!

Very interesting aricle. It's neat to see how things have changed with the different brands (especially H-D).
