Heavy sigh...... Not allowed to sit on it anymore at the stealership. Drool is apparently making a mess on the tank. Ok there is the down side, plastic tank, that means a new strap-on/pita tank bag or using those side compartments. I wonder what the tempurature gets to in those things.

Yeah, well I just got my first real ride on a DL1000. Traded bikes with a friend for about 30 miles over a twisty mountain road, a dirt road and Interstate.

Loads cheaper than the Duck.

I want one.

Damn salesman, now it's last years demo and I've got to ride it, he says. I wish I didn't have such a low opinion of the local Suzuki dealer. I stopped in today a B'King and a 'Busa on display that's it except for the 8 gahzillion snowmobiles...... think DL, think DL.....

The multistrada is such an ugly Duc that they'd have to change the upper fairing/headlight design before I'd ever think of buying one. It's kind of baffling, considering that most Ducs are such nice looking bikes.
