Would just like to thank you very much for the info. you have given us.
Would like to see more on pipes . I have an RZ 350 and a few Triples. I would like to construct some of my own pipes. Sounds like I am taking on quit a chore . But I am up for the brain teaser.....LOL Thanks Again. Is there any info on reed block mods. for the RZ. ![]() Last edited by pasroller12 : 12-27-2009 at 10:22 PM. Reason: miss spelling |

If you can find and old set of Toomey's, they were the best street pipes for the RZ's.

Those thrilling days of yesteryear before every 2popper came with an expansion chamber and we were just learning about them. Welding rigs burning in the night and hacksaw tuning is the name of the game. Make the stinger half a foot too long and cut it off an inch at a time until the bike runs "right". Then go out and hole your piston.

Loved the 2stroke theory class when I graduated from MMI. Although it was all in vain, years after I graduated the demise of 2strokes where already at hand. In school we had to figure out the exact dimensions to create the exhaust from scratch and what type of powerband we wanted it to have. Alot more mathmatics then I'd like but easy to grip my brain around it once I fired her up. Miss the hit of a 2stoke powerband already. Got the chance to ride a few 2strokes in Hawaii a couple TZ's and RS250's. Dam they were fast. Fast and finicky.
