I have two sets of $$$ Marchon Titanium "frameless" (one set that gets scuffed and chemical-exposed for work, cost me ~$450; the other set I bought two years later for "nice" stuff w/auto-darkening lenses, cost ~$600). Best frakking thousand bucks I EVER spent.

EV. AR.

Frames are nigh-unto Indestructible. "Plain" Replacement lenses are covered by my Health Insurance +$50

The set I have on right now weighs 7.4 grams. I just now weighed them. You've got more weight in change in your pocket.....

I get the lenses covered under the insurance allowance and just pay for frames, these Armani's run around $300 or so and fit my Charlie Brown mug pretty well. My spares are still in pretty good shape and my full on emergency pair still work though they make me look like Heinrich Himmler, fashion is such a fickle thing after all...
