Thank ya Sir.

With a Multi S I only need topcase and running lights and I'll be happy. The new Grantorismo is the Bee's knees but at 22k +++ not so much.

The K T M SMT needs hard cases all around ($1k to $1500) seat (for the little woman) running lights and a new windshield to start with. The SMT in my hood (if its still available) has the hard cases already so that caught my eye. Then I'd ship the seat to Russell (and uglify the heck out of it) order the top case and roll. That would save me 4-5k over the Multi S's I see up for sale now.

But we'll see what deals abound once the car is gone, hopefully this weekend...

In point of fact we've jjust about reached the breakover point where Natural Gas is cheaper to burn on an Industrial scale than coal is given the massive NG fields that keep popping up. I only mention this because it would be the gas company paying you to ride an electric motorcycle or car, not the coal company. Which deservedly should go the way of the Dodo and sooner the better.

Don't make no nevermind to me though, I still wouldn't own one. Nothing about electric vehiles appeals to me, If I can't have my internal combustion engine I'll ride a horse.... a big one that sh*ts all over the place...

Great video and article. Nice job! Hearing what the bikes sound like is awesome. Range is still a problem but it's getting there. Price too is still a problem. Especially for the Empulse. For that kind of money I would buy a Ducati . Not sure I understand having a 6 speed tranny in a DC motor. 2 speed maybe Usually trannies are used in constand speed AC motors like in the new Detroit Electric sports car.

Ducati's motard touring bike looks pretty neat too. Although "motard touring" really does sound like an oxymoron.
