Interesting idea. Essentially "off the shelf" components combined into a new, useful device.

Ima techno-junkie myself, so I LOVE clever little bits like this.

Then you might like our upcoming review of a Zero S which can link via Bluetooth to a smartphone and control parameters such as the amount of engine braking you prefer.

We just had the big motor vs. engine talk up a few threads ago.

Now Zero's have "engine braking?"

I'm so confused!

I'm so confused!
I can be less accurate with my words on the forum than I must in a published article. Yes, Zeros don't have "engine braking," they have motor braking, which can be custom tailored to suit a rider.

Now, if you want to get into an editing battle, let's work on the plural of Zero...

The term motor was originally used to distinguish the new internal combustion engine-powered vehicles from earlier vehicles powered by steam engines, such as the steam roller and motor roller, but may be used to refer to any engine.

Doesn't matter. The terms are used interchangeably now.
