Even with the reduction in torque this bike gets an old man like me frothing at the bit. May Ducati sell many of these fine machines. MO hits the mark on the Ducati reviews. I can only imagine the horror of having to go to southern Spain to review this bike.

Is this the same bike that the HyperStrada is built on? If so, the Strada would have to be quite a cool bike for commuting and weekend trips.

Yup, same bike. The strada just comes with a windscreen, bags, slightly different seat, and some other odds and ends. Chassis and engine are exactly the same.

Sounds like a really sweet powerplant and I like the longer service intervals. The Hyperstrada based on this sounds like an amazing all around bike. Looking forward to the test on that one, complete with gratuitious saddlebag equipped wheelie shot :)

Another "license loser". I'd probably go for an S3 or maybe the Tuono instead. But that's just personal pref.

But I wouldn't turn down a 'Motard if a good enough deal showed up. Here's hoping it doesn't. I don't want to spend my golden years on a bus.
