I put about 100 miles on the GT and found it to be a blast. I'd love to go squid hunting on one. They really handle that well.
I noticed the seat height issue as well. This is not a beginner scooter. I'd pick the GT over the sport but at ten grand, I don't know that I'd pick either. |

Randomly noticed in the specs that the stator output is an incredibly stout 588 watts. Holy smokin' electrical output!
This leads me to wonder if a traffic clearing capacitor discharge laser cannon is available as a option. |

I bought one of these last month and have put 600 miles on it so far, trading in a liter class sport touring bike to get it. I have no problem handling the seat height at 5'6" with a 29" inseam and riding in thin soled shoes, and don't think it's something anyone is likely to find tricky for very long unless you're shorter than me.
Even without the top box I was able to put 3 bags of groceries in the very large under-seat storage area, and with the BMW top box installed it's got almost 100 liters of storage without the width of saddlebags to make you nervous when lane splitting or parking. With ABS, TPMS, the BMW GPS nav. system, heated grips and seat, electric screen, built in power outlet to charge your phone or other devices, etc., it's basically like a mini GT/GTL. Handles great, has more than enough power for most any situation on the street, and all day comfort. I took it in for the first service and then had to pick it up in the rain, and after riding the loaner bike back to the dealer, what a difference in rough weather riding behind the full fairing covering the feet and legs! And for those who've not had an electric screen, I discovered a cool use of this besides being able to adjust for more/less noise or warmth - you can direct the windblast to blow off your visor while you ride if it's wet! Love it. |

I experienced that comparo when I dropped off the scooter and picked up my GTL from the dealer.
I had never ridden a big scooter before. I'd be interested to see how this compares to the Honda or Suzuki. I'm guess the handling and brakes would make it a wipeout. |

BTW, your most recent reviews have a glitch.
The videos do not play on my iPad. I don't know anything about code or such but it seems you'd want the videos to play on the most popular mobile browser on earth. |

Would love to see these with a manumatic trans with paddle shifters.
May own one of these someday, as it would be a perfect easy to jump on runabout that is capable of going long distances too. What versatile machines these are. Probably better on graded dirt roads than a normal street bike with their lower CG too. |
