This is the second MV in a row that's been panned for lousy FI tuning. There's just no excuse for a manufacture like MV to let that defect go out the factory door. If this were a Chinese cheapie, sure, it's to be expected. But not on a $20k motorcycle.
If MV can't figure out fuel injection they should go back to carbs. Or build an e-bike.

I can see fueling issues at part throttle and cruising RPM where the regulatory agencies test, but it is curious to see it pop up at full throttle and aggressive riding situations.
Should not have to do it, but this issue should be fixable with a power commander and some dyno time. Just gives the owner something to fix, to feel needed and involved. On a much lower plane, my current ride was much like that ![]() Last edited by Duken4evr : 10-26-2012 at 10:00 PM. |
