Do any other manufacturers offer the RSV4's adjustable engine, swingarm, and steering head features, or is that unique to Aprilia? AFAIK nobody else does, and I wonder why, or if they plan to. Or, do other manufacturers offer track-only versions of their bikes that have these adjustments? I'm pretty sure their production bikes do not.
It's a little suprising the Ohlins kit didn't stand out as a notable improvement over the R version's suspension. I rode a Vee a few weeks ago with Ohlins upgraded forks and shocks and immediately wished I had not. It so much better than my setup, which has an upgraded rear and OEM forks. Maybe the R's is that good to start with?

As for suspension, the Ohlins stuff is certainly better, but the difference wasn't as significant as we, and perhaps you, figured.
