You're forgetting how much fun it is to hustle an 800 lb bike with minimal ground clearance through the twisties. Not to mention the aerobic workout from heaving all that weight around, a win-win!

I am used to having around 150hp on tap. 65 some odd horses in a heavy package would probably bore me to the point where I would not want to ride anymore. Now that I think about it, I may never sell the FZ1

FYI, a friend of mine recently bought a used FZ1 based partly on your recommendations for Ivan's stuff. Got a screamin' deal on the bike and is now very happy with its engine. Now he's looking at suspension mods and more ground clearance. Thx for your input!
