Even though it's improved in every way over the old Vmax at least they kept the classic ugly, cobbled-together styling motif.

This is definitely a "what the hell, I just inherited/won a boatload of money and I need to spend some of it on over the top toys" kind of bike. Sure would love to be in that situation one day! I will take one of these with a set of free flowing cans please...

What surprised me about this bike when I rode one in Daytona was how "normal" it could be. It's a perfectly usable bike for day to day riding, if you want it to be.
Or you can whack the throttle, spin the rear tire, shoot past the ride leader with the front tire a few inches off the pavement, and get banned from Yamaha demo rides for the rest of the week.

Good ol' japanese styling, I'd rether see them making these kinds of bikes than cookie cutter Harley knock-offs. It may look like gramma in a G string but it'd probably be fun to ride
