I'm certainly not worried about profits killing IC engines.

BTW, the taxpayer is still on the hook big time with GM.

We've got to sell 500 million shares at $53 a share to break even.

See, you're not buying enough 500-plus-hp cars. Get out there before they realize the market doesn't much care about having 500 horses and was instead wishing they could drive an electric car with a suitable range!

I'm down to a measly 300 hp in my BMW.

I've been suitably shamed into believing desiring more is wrong and hurts dolphins.

A friend has a Mustang. 440hp and gets 26mpg. Pretty cool.

You consider 100 mile range (probably daytime only, no a/c and 55mph max) a breakthrough? GM's first EV got about 75 miles.

Looks like baby steps on EVs are now "breakthroughs".

And that's the THIRD article in six months I've read saying essentially the same thing. So, we've got less than SIX months to wait for the Chevy SuperVolt....
