"Imagine growing up in a world where winding up the revs and sliding your foot off the clutch pedal is only a distant memory...or where tossing a car into a corner and dropping down three gears at once to break the rear end loose is a thing of the past. That's not a world I want to be a part of."

Thank you for my new signature battery boy.

Actually my new signature will be:

"Imagine a world where Buzz can grasp the concept of different, yet non-mutually exclusive vehicle technologies, co- existing in the marketplace."

I think I'll update it now!

Certainly not your world where the elimination of the IC engine is the goal.

You voted for that guy, remember?

When the gleaming alloy air-car shoots towards you two lanes wide, head for the one-lane bridge and leave him stranded by the riverside.

I'm in agreement with Ken - let other people buy electric vehicles and leave the gasoline to us.

Getting stuck behind them as they're range-nursing is going to be annoying, though.

It must be fun to just make stuff up out of thin air like you do.

I love gas vehicles, but if I were married or could afford a second car, I'd buy an electric. I could easily use one to commute to work and for around town; but having only 1 car and needing to drive 300 miles every month or so, I can't.

What Buzz can't seem to comprehend is that there can be both, and that there is tremendous value to all of us to have more than one solution to a problem. Fer'instance, E-Bikes don't threaten or take anything away from our sport, they just broaden everybody's options.

Yeah, those record profits at GM are killing IC engines! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to cross-shop the 580-hp Camaro with the 638-hp Vette...

Better get it fast. ZL1/ZR1 Chevrolet anything will soon be a thing of the Past (along with Pontiac, Oldsmobile, Saturn.....), if GM doesn't pull it out of their ass, and quickly.
