Your idiomatic French phrase means, "one may not pretend" but has many interpretations, because it is an expression. We have ten or more friends who are doctors. Two or three are Republicans and own guns, but the 'vast majority' don't either own guns or own motorcycles. I guess you live in another part of the country.
You don't ride? Why plague us then?

Have Mr. Delaplaya's posts been scrubbed or did he randomly start ranting incoherence? I am very impressed with his connection to so many in the medical profession. It gives him a respect that he would not have commanded otherwise. Do I understand him correctly in that he has been a biker all his life but out of respect for his surgeon wife gave it up? WTFO? Maybe he is a forum construct made up by resurrecting an old obscure user ID to spice up the post. If he is real what set him off? Maybe his frustration comes from his wife telling him he'll have nothing and like it. Who really knows why a person chooses not to go to Sturgis. I sense something is aggravating him but cannot put my finger on it. Hmmm.............

In the connotation I use it, it means "Sometimes, it is Not Pretend". Make of the English translation what you will......

Just because all your friends are Doctors, does not mean they ride - and if they do, does not mean they "Sturgis", and if they DID - I would not automagically assume they were a bunch of Racist Rednecks with licenses listing "White" as their Blood-type.

You are also not the only person on this forum essentially "surrounded" by Doctors and other white-collar professionals. No Lawyers in my family, thank God.

Some are even "Republican" (or so they tell me - I think they're really all just Closet Libertarians, myself).

Possibly lack of sex?

That always gets me going. That, and/or a sufficient infusion of grain-alcohol.....

I've been a biker all my life, and I'd love to attend Sturgis, but I will not support some of the radicals that attend. I thought Lenard Skyknard was terrific, until I learned that they're basically kkk.
Wow. I started to feed the troll, then deleted all but one word:

Loser.

Now that's pretty damn funny. Especially since my last contact with "medical professionals" was having two of them ram a 3" diameter fiber optic roto-rooter up my ass.

We haven't changed anything on our end. Maybe your nanny is just a bee-atch.

Boy are we twins or what!!! I just had a fiber optic roto-rooter up MY ass this morning!!!

For those of you interested in my colonic health their anal spelunking excursion turned up negitive, 5 small polyps removed and the colon resection has healed nicely. Good for another 3 years at least

Thanks for caring by the way, it's touching in a hetro lifemate kinda' way.......
