The Tuono is kicking butt in every comparo and eval I've read. Both in performance and price. And that color-matched seat...WOW!! Do they make 17" sport radials with Gansta Whitewalls?

And from the front, it looks like Bumblebee!

Well, that's an easy one for guys like you and me, as the Tuono is one of the most exciting bikes on the road. But, for a rider who finds the Diavel appealing, it's unlikely he's cross-shopping a Tuono. That's why the Diavel is having whatever success it's having, because there isn't anything else quite like it. I've now seen several riding around.

I see quite a few Ducati's in my neighborhood, too, including a couple of Diavels. But I live about a mile from a Ducati dealership. (No, these are not test ride bikes I'm seeing .. I see those, too, including group test rides, which is how that particular dealer likes to do things.)

The Diavel might keep you alive longer.

There's only one way to ride the Aprilia (which is probably why I didn't buy one!).

That sounds like a really bad idea to me. Get on an unfamiliar bike for a group ride with a bunch of people you know nothing about, and who very likely are inexperienced, or at best, are as unfamiliar with their bike as you are with yours? I think not.
