We kept forgetting the race was on. Without the noise you can start a conversation and continue it, oblivious to the race around you.

We have the same issue with e-bike racing. It's hard to get excited about a race you don't even know is going on!

The quickest qualifying trap speed of the 600's was 6 mph slower than the winning E-bike, and the quickest trap speed of the 1000's was 6 mph faster. Wow.

Troy, what is Team Barracuda's motivation? It's obvious enough why Zero and Brammo race, they want to sell bikes. Motocyst () says they're developing e-vehicle subcomponents. Does Barracuda/Lightning have a production bike, or do they plan to develop and manufacture one?

Good question with an interesting answer! Lightning is preparing a streetbike, with a 5-bike limited run now entering production. We've seen renderings of what it will look like when completed, and it looks sensational. Stay tuned!
