Interesting stuff, particularly the air bags. The system is very similar to the life jacket I wear at work. Deluxe Inflatable PFD with Hydrostatic Inflator Technology (HIT) and Sailing Harness MD3184

It seems pretty clear that once the available rear wheel power went over 120HP or so, control systems that allow riders to use it effectively (and safely) are going to be the differentiating factors between sport bikes going forward. It may not be that long before BMW ads tout "New "64-bit CPUs" versus "Bold New Graphics." It should be fun for the riders too; once the systems advance to the point where user-programmability is possible.
About the neck braces: are people using them on the street? I've never seen one; but then FL isn't as trendy as Cali.
