Damn, that Zed-X Ten looks awesome in black and white. Nice going Kawi!

Adding an ABS option to the 650 is a great idea; especially since it's aimed at entry-level riders.

Ah yes it is good to be a Kawasaki fan. The Ninja 650 is one step closer to being the perfect all around motorcycle. It finally has standrad grab handles for the passenger and optional ABS. Sweet.

I guess the dazzle camouflage paint scheme is to help avoid tickets

I just read through the 2008 Light-weight shootout referred to in the early release model description. I did a spit-take when I read that the Kawasaki KLX250S has a top speed of 90 mph. All on 18.66 rear-wheel hp. Where did this figure come from - the speedometer? The WR250R produces 6 more rear-wheel horsepower, weighs exactly the same, and can barely hit 90 mph.

I was hoping the KLX250S would be updated with fuel injection just like the XT250 for this year. Heck - it would have been nice to see fuel-injection on the KLR650 too. As stated - the KLR650 was updated in 2007. However, that was 5 years ago - an eternity in bike years.

Yeah, the KLX top speed was logged on the speedo, and they aren't known to be very accurate, especially at higher speeds. And, yeah, let's at the KLX and KLR to the list of dual-sports (including the DR-Z400) that should get EFI.
