Since when is $4500 inexpensive for a small scooter? Anyone wanting to try out scootering should check out a couple of the reliable chinese/taiwanese brands like Kymco or Sym.

$4500 is not cheap. But I have owned Vespas and Taiwanese scoots like Kymcos and the Buddy Blackjack.
They all are fun. But the Vespas are built to a much higher standard (monocoque steel body) with better paint and componentry that it is very apparent where the extra $ went. You do get more by paying more, but if you are just looking for a fun ride, then you do have other options. |
