No flat track or vintage MX this year. SM is over the hill and always during a race on the big track so Ive never made it over there. Turn out was the lightest Ive seen in years, and its normally pretty light... TTXGP was the most boring race Ive seen in years. Though that explains the near stock zero's racing around 1/3 the pace of the lightnings with the stock class. Still some great racing and Cardenas's crash was right in front of me. The bike appeared to cartwheel a lot higher in the sky than the TV view made it seem, pretty spectacular. Still a great kick off to WSB end of the month, hoping for equally nice weather in UT, unlike last years snow flurries....

Yeah, spectator attendence was pretty light, which seems odd considering the terrific location and wonderful nearby roads. Hopefully this story will help bring out more riders next year!
