Had the helmet cam going while trail riding on the CR250. I figure always run the camera, discard 95% of the video, but it has to be running in order to catch the "good stuff".
Had not thought about it, but having the camera is also very instructive in figuring out why I crashed. Amazing how the camera was able to catch clear focused images during the "Rag Doll" portion of the video. They go by too fast to discern when you watch it full speed, but I pulled screen shots and discuss what was going through my mind during the "slow motion" mode that is all too well understood by anyone who has crashed a bike. Nice of Seruzawa to let you ride on his driveway....
I was thinking after you climbed the big rock for a look around you reached the supreme over-confidance stage riding noticably faster through an increasingly tighter track. Clearly you know what you're doing, my serious dirt riding and racing was over 30 years ago so humor me please. Nowadays I restrict myself to plonking along logging and forest service roads on my porker GS. Looked like a nice area to ride anyway though I'd have been going a whole lot slower with my 500 lb "Adventure" bike and creaky knees...

I heard the voice of Hank Hill when I watched it: "Dammit, Bobby....."

Very cool. Thanks for sharing that. I've never done dirt riding. It looks like fun, but with my target fixation issues, it would be "vroom...vroom...vroom...tree...vroom...vroom...tre e...vroom...tree...vroom...boulder...tree...vroom. ..vroom...ditch."
