The numberplate isnt doing it for me.

Same here. But the rest is tasty. This is the first Victory I've seen that grinds my gears. The musclecar mag wheels and RWL tires are too cool.

I think it's the nicest Vic as well.

However, there are still some mis-matched designs here that don't add up to me. It's still the legacy of the drippy, Ness bikes of the 90s.

The frenched taillight and pointy turn signals look totally out of place to me.

The seat kind of drips around the number plate in a funky way. The plate is ok and I'm sure it's hiding a ton of electronics behind it. You can only do so much with modern bikes that have computers and stuff.

Don't like the number plate thingy. Looks lego cheap to me.
Really fat front tire makes the forks look spindly. Would look better with a 17.
Single disk front brake? Just to show off the wheel but c'mon. It would stop much better with 2, and it is meant to be a performance cruiser.
Much more attractive than any Japanese cruiser.

Really needs a comparo test with the Harley Fat Bob. Throw in a Diavel just to keep Victory grounded as to who really is the champ.

And add a V-Max to the mix. Tough job, but somebody has to do it!

I did not know they even made K491s anymore. Those tires were great, back in the day. No doubt they work fine on this bike.

Would like it better w/o the numberplate thing, inverted forks, double disc brakes, 17" wheels and normal tire sizes so it handles. The numberplate does not look good, and it makes the seat look funky. I like the bike better in black, as it hides the funkiness going on with the seat/numberplate thing.

On the whole muscle car connection, old muscle cars are cool, but the new stuff is better. A recent spin behind the wheel of a Z06 Corvette sure affirmed that. Holy hand of God horsepower, glued to the road handling and awesome V8 rumbly sounds

Normally I'd agree, but:

Despite using only one four-piston caliper with a 310mm disc in front, the solo brake reeled in the Judge with authority. Applying the front and rear brake (310mm disc, 2-piston caliper) simultaneously hauled in the Judge pronto, with nearly as much braking performance as I’ve experienced on various sport and standard-type motorcycles. I applaud Victory here for supplying the Judge with such excellent braking performance.

Less unsprung weight and it shows off the wheel, apparently without detriment to performance.

Pretty cool looking bike IMO, I like most of Victory's designs as a matter of fact. Not really a style of bike I'm interested at the moment but they seem to be doing a pretty good job with them.

An interesting counter point review can be seen here:

2013 Victory Judge First Ride - Motorcycle USA

They like it but seem more critical, and quite frankly this review seems more realistic.

In what way is the USA review "more realistic?"
