Gosh, now that they've gotten the price down to a sensible $45,000.00, I'm going to have to reconsider that C-14 purchase. With a set of Givi E-36's and a windscreen; the X132 could be a viable sport touring rig for Iron Butt runs and weekend trips.

I've always thought they were pretty damn cool but I can't see throwing down 45 large.
Of course, if you've got Jay Leno cash it's no big deal. |

They do build some very unique and cool bikes. I like the bare metal, exposed welds, CNC machining.
But yeah; $40-$100 large is a bit much for a scooter.

Even if I had Lenos money this is one dream I'd pass on. It does have some nice features.

I love the unit-construction cases which keep the wheelbase from being stupid-long like any bike using a Harley-clone engine. I'm really looking forward to riding it.

The engine is cool as hell. Harley should take note. Someone forgot to bolt on the back half of the motorcycle though.

"Big-inch Harley-Davidsons and the custom cruiser crowd still largely abide by the non-unit format."

No. Harley doesn't have to change anything to stay successful. Buzz went for a ride and saw some younger guys on Sportsters. That proves it.
