I'm with you on that one! They always spoil steering manners and nearly double the unsprung weight the rear suspension must control. Buh,bye!

Love the blacked out engine which is a known good performer that responds well to bolt on external mods. Don't like the number plate or 16" wheels. Want inverted forks and 17" wheels and dual rotors.
Still a bit infatuated with the Star Warrior. Like that bike a lot better than this one in the power cruiser segment. It has an engine from hell, that looks like it was pieced together from an old radial engine airplane (a cool thing indeed) handles well for this type of bike and it is not butt ugly like the Suzuki M109. |

Still traumatized by the 16" front wheel that was mounted to the front of my '87 Ninja 750 too. Memories of it's shaky shopping cart front end manners at 125 mph stay with me to this day!
