Only a little bit of what happened in Vegas stayed in Vegas! I did leave out the bit about partying in Junior's hotel room, the one with a full-size bowling alley...

It was cool to see you on the show. It must have been a lopsided victory for Paul Jr., because when I went to look for the raw voting numbers the next day, they were nowhere to be found.

Man, picking a "winner" out of that pack of BFU bikes must have been nauseating. I'd have picked JJ's just because it's the least absurd of the three turds.

Paul and Paul Jr. used to come in to Rossmeyer HD pretty regularly. Jr. was ok, but Sr. always seemed like he was on the brink of a 'roid rage. Veins buldging out on his head, face flushed, sweaty even when it was cold. I'm surprised he hasn't had a fatal heart attack yet.

What a mind boggling experiance, I have to complement you on your self control for not barfing all over the stage during Jr & Sr's tender moment, the grapes were probably a good choice.

I'd have picked Jesse Jame's bike based on the fact that it's a ridable bike and the guy is a very skilled fabricator. Stainless is very difficult to work with so props for that too though I'd be a little leery about riding it down a bumpy road until I was sure his welds were good.

I was wondering about the alleged difficulty in bending and welding stainless. Having spent much of my time on offshore boats, stainless tuna towers, life rails, davits, etc. are pretty common. They have lots of complex bends and welds.

I'm not saying it's as easy as soldering a copper pipe joint, but it's not rocket science either.

Not rocket science but it has to be done right or the welds will be brittle
