Reminds me of riding my buddies quadrunner way back when. Fun for a few minutes but gave it back and had no desire to ride it again.

A couple of weeks ago my GF and I were riding and met an older couple at a stop. They were in their 70s and now riding a Harley Trike.

They had ridden Geezer Glides for years but had reached the point where it was no longer safe to be balancing a heavy bike.

These people were older than my parents and still dedicated to being on the road. Good for them.

If I was into snowmobiling, and wanted to have the same kind of fun in the summer, this would be a great ride.

It's not a dumbed-down motorcycle. It's a completely different beast with its own legit niche. The dynamics are all wrong for me, but sledders would be right at home.

I've seen a few around and if people like them then more power to them. They are good options for people who can't ride a motorcycle for some physical reason, like balance problems or missing a foot or something. But they allow people who are afraid of bikes to ride around as exposed as on a bike. People who are afraid to ride a bike have no business on these things either. I know this because of all the injuries and fatalities you see from ATV riders who foolishly think that ATVs are safer than dirt bikes when the truth is that ATVs are more dangerous than bikes. If you roll over the chances of death and serious injury are greater than when you dump a dirt bike.

However Spyders are emphatically NOT motorcycles. Maybe we could have articles on Morgans too.
