Very good coverage of the event.

+1 for mentioning Twisted Throttle. They're great people with superb products. I make a point of hitting their setup at Daytona every year. Same for Givi USA.

It's a shame Suzuki seems to be stagnating. They've skipped or barely showed up to Daytona for several years running. At least last year they were doing demo rides. Time for them to kick out a highly upgraded DL1000, a streetfighter, a W650 type of bike, do SOMETHING guys. You can't ride the Gixxer train forever.

Brammo says Q2 for the Empulse huh? Did they mention which year? At least they're putting their R&D money in the right place (dayglo shorts and tops).

And, along with the others: Jesus H. Christ, somebody check the water supply at Victory! I've cleaned cat turds out of the litter box that looked better than that thing they led with.

I'll be going to the Seattle show next weekend then across the street to the Pyramid Ale House for the usual post-show Pint or two....Can't wait!

I hate to pile on Victory so my only comment is that they seem to have copied the two worst styling cues from the V Rod, ie the gas tank and radiator shroud and added their own brand of style to the mix to create another visually stunning motorcycle......

Attended the show in Long Beach on a Sunday instead of Saturday for the first time in a number of years. Was able to purchase a pair of Lee Parks gloves I had wanted for a while. Everyone seemed to be making a full court press to actively market their products. Everyone was confident in their respective product offering. A semi-toothless Asian biker babe did express her concerns about the collapse of the dollar. She still planned on getting one of the new BMW Scooters however. Overall I saw the show more compact but offering a full compliment of manufacturers and products. Triumphs fit and finish are stellar. Buy Silver.
