An interesting story.
Reading the track-school articles that have appeared here, I get the impression they are intended for improving riding on the track (duh). But what about the street? Yes, it's true that some techniques transfer from the track to the street, but would it not be better to have a class offering that is completely focused on improving skills on the streets, in traffic, in the wet or low traction, etc.? Skip Barber does that; you can go to classes intended for people who are into club racing or moving up the race-driver food chain, or you can go to classes that are for people who have no intention of ever driving on a track other than to learn how to improve their street driving.
