Tiger 1200, nice.
|
A 1200 Tiger. Soon to be followed by a 1200 Speed Triple I betcha. My only question on the 1200 Tiger is how would you keep the speedometer from banging you in the face all the time?

Well done Triumph.....well done.
|
Awedome!!!
AWESOME!!! If this Tiger 1200 has ergos anywhere near my current Buell Ulysses...
Seriously, though, this current crop of offerings from Triumph might just nudge it ahead of BMW and Kawasaki as the premiere motorcycle manufacturer (for the moment). If you can't find an offering in the Triumph line-up... |

That's interesting. My Buell Uly is possessed by tiny demons. I'm agonizing over exorcism... or now, this? |
All good stuff, but I'm waiting for them to put their 800 into a new mid-weight Sprint ST.

1. Any word on the price range of the Tiger Explorer? I'm assuming it'll come in around $13k. I hear the Tiger 1050 will continue...I wonder how they'll position them against the 1200. Price point maybe?
2. How did Triumph license the rights to use McQueen's name? Is it now in the public domain, or do they have to pay his estate a royalty for every bike sold? |

It's not Harley Davidson, after all. |
