Mr. Allen, I've enjoyed your Moto GP articles all season, and I especially liked your unalloyed comments on Simoncelli's antics on the track. Which makes this article rather disappointing.
While it is tragic that the man died, I don't think Simoncelli's getting through a few races without crashing himself or someone else out excuses his notorious racing history. Simoncelli was riding at 9/10ths with 7/10ths skills. Add to that his complete lack of regard for other's safety and his unwillingness or inability to truly accept responsibility for his actions, and you've got a recipe for disaster. Again, thanks for the highly enjoyable GP coverage. I'm looking forward to more next year.

The phrase is commonly thought to mean that the government should not establish, support, or otherwise involve itself in any religion. Its.......A FACT! |

Hello Mr. Allen,
Thank you for the thoughtful and well written article on the death of Marco Simoncelli. After your justifiable criticism of this young man, I had wondered what your approach would be. As for those who would chose to critique you for any perceived backing off, I question their judgment and sensitivity. Sincerely, Brad. |
