Number 3 on the list is incomplete. Honda didn't stop the cam driven V4 express until the introduction of the 2002 VFR800 (Interceptor). Check it out on VFRD.

I've always like the Ducati. Best sounding bike I ever heard was a 916. Have no idea what pipes he was running but it was a thing of beauty visually and sounding.
