Yeah, I think this is a worthy update to the CBR, both aesthetically and, potentially, to its already-great handling performance. But, to some, it won't be enough, particularly the peak output of the engine. I'm anxious to ride it to see how it actually works, which will be before the New Year.

Certainly not me, I buy $18k pseudo dirt bikes..,


I don't think the ST1300 will change too much. For one thing the police are riding them now and they tend to take a conservative approach in adapting to new platforms. For another the current bike works as intended for a lot of people. Definately more Tour than Sport but still a good handling comfortable and reliable bike to pass the time on.
