One of the more entertaining articles I've read here. The comic book tie-in was fun. Good going.

I looked at the shootout article link to see if there were any performance figures there. Just curious what the 1/4 mile and 0-60 times are.

No bike that weighs over 700lbs is "sport". But then I come from an era where 350s weighed less than some of todays 125s.

Comic-con in SD has become a legendary event. Damn LA is trying to steal it from us but the CC has just re-upped for a few more years here.

My guess is it will eventually go to LA and it will be ruined forever.

"Sport" is the most tossed around and also meaningless word in motorsports today. My car 's "Sport" edition has a spoiler. On the back. Of a front wheel drive car...

Agreed. I like reviews with an angle. Too many bike reviews read like MotorWeek transcripts ("Our tester shot from 0-60 in a respectable 8.9 seconds. The ride was firm but compliant, and the seat bolsters were supportive..." Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...)

MO always seems a little light on the performance data. I keep looking for links to charts.

Suzuki has a great engine here. They should take a cue from HD and Victory and find more homes for it. A varied lineup built around the mighty 109 mill would be very competitive, if done right.

The "if done right" thing is the issue. To some, a liquid-cooled V-Twin cruiser just doesn't sit well...
