Help identify this bike please?

Hi folks - wondering if anyone can help identify this bike (click for larger view):


This photo was taken in 1971, so obviously the bike can't be newer than then

Any help is welcome, as I haven't the foggiest idea how to go about trying to ID this thing.

I'm familiar with them in that they were nice bikes when I was a kid. I had the good fortune to grow up in a motorcycling family and be around at the crucial turning point when the Japanese bikes went from being small two strokes to major players. These were usually color coded by year by the way...
