At least bars are easy to change.
I like the look of the bike with the fat front tire and minimal fender and all, but ape-hangers just seem silly to me. I guess I'm not much of a fashion hound, I like my clothes and my bikes to fit and function. My hands even went to sleep while riding a rented Harley Heritage Softail with bars at about shoulder height, I don't think I could ride this thing for very long at all. |

I like 'em, I've always been a fan of the low seat/forward controls/apey hangers look. I've set up a couple of my Harleys that way, toss in a set of drag pipes and it's instant outlaw lol. The trick is to keep them so your hands are level with your shoulders, higher than that and it's difficult to turn at low speeds.
