The GSXR 750, which arguably kicked off the modern sport bike era as we know it in 1985, still is a top weapon of choice for track day duty.

Like the sun rising and the birds signing every morning, I find this to be comforting. Suzuki lost it's way for awhile there (the semi awful 1988 to 1995 GSXR porky pig pre SRAD dead zone springs to mind) but Suzuki has been on the ball from 1996 to current, delivering relative value, durability and high performance to enthusiasts everywhere.

Well done. The beloved GSXR750 still rocks. I can continue to sleep at night :)

For the race track, you have to give the nod to Suzuki. However... how many of these bikes will ever sniff the smooth asphalt of a race track? The Ducati and Triumph, IMHO, are the lookers of the bunch.

Interesting that the 675 races supersport in the rest of the world, but is excluded in the USA.
