Please help me id this model Suzuki:
I've searched and cannot find this model. It appears to be a mid-sized street/sport bike (not like a GSXr, seating is more upright,) no fairing, pipes exit under the seat like a Ducati. I have seen them with the tail lights in two rows inside the rear wheel well above the tire. I don't know if that is aftermarket or stock. Sorry I don't have info. Your help is most appreciated. |

I have nothing, other than seeing several of them on the street.

What ??
You expect someone to be able to identify a bike from only your text description.......and a limited one at that ? This is a joke, right ?? ![]() Suzuki has a web site. It has pictures.

SV's have twin LEDs. But the exhaust you speak of must be aftermarket.

Here's a pic of a custom SV. If the tail light and the frame match the bike you saw, search the web for SV650 and SV650S.

Yes, that looks very much like what I have been seeing. You are saying that the exhaust system and tail light are aftermarket?
I believe the pipes I've seen are twin exhausts, like a Ducati or Yamaha R1. Perhaps there is a dual exhaust version? Thanks so much for your help. Note to Easy Rider 2: sorry, I did not mean to offend or waste your time. |

The exhaust is aftermarket, the tail light isn't. Just do a google image search for SV650 and SV650S. They normally come with a single normal (on the side) pipe. Anything else is aftermarket.

Dr. T - that exhaust is aftermarket (and probably a few other items) - that particular one appears to be a Yoshimura. For the "angular frame" SV-models, the LED tail-light is stock. I believe there are a few cans available with twin-outlet.

I forwarded the photo to Yoshimura, they say they don't make anything like that. There must be another source as I have seen more than one of this style exhaust system (except with twin pipes).
