These are mainstream Japanese scooters, and you're worried about quality? Buy the one you like, from a dealer who treats you right. You can take either one on the freeway/expressway without a problem, so engine size shouldn't be an issue.

Either one is worth the $$. I say buy the one that fits you the best. Both are great scoots, but IMHO the Bergman is a slightly better value for the $$.

I have about 15 Burgman owners that have everything from Supertrapp exhaust systems to traxxion dymanics suspensions and they race the blue hell out of them in the N GA hills. There's this one guy named Turbo Bill that is over 70 and can take most guys on modern sportbikes under 1000 cc. Full race leathers, knees down, full lean hustle- AND HE'S over 70!
