I just got back from a 2500 mile, eight state, eight day loop from Bama to Ohio and while almost all the roads I travelled were considered scenic and great riding I really enjoyed Hwys 250 and 219 in West Virginia. I definately will make it a point to go back in that direction.

Loved riding in Oregon. Crater Lake is beautiful. Then again, the Northwest as a whole is fantastic. Have a great ride.

Thank ya Thank ya, Ive only done a blast down 5 from Seattle. So I'm really looking forwards to it. If anyone has any suggestions for roads in OR, throw them out. I've been checking the Oregon motorcyclist site though its kinda funky.

The route we took was down out of Washington along the coast until Readsport then 38 to 138 to Crater Lake National Park then 62 to just north of Medford to 234 then to 199 to Crescent City. Most of it is shown as scenic. It's been ten years since we took that trip so I don't have any new intel. That trip was one for the books, 28 days, 21 states, 2 Canadian provinces and 9000+ miles. I sure do miss having 30 days leave a year .
