Default I Like the Lights
There isn't much to fault with this bike. Even if you add in the price of a wind screen and ABS it makes the perfect Santiago Canyon bike. Absolutely makes my list of five.

I promised myself I wouldn't comment on the headlights. Really, they're just effing headlights. I expected a lot of chatter about it once I saw the new bike, but not the level I've read over the past few months.

Bottom line is that every person who's had the opportunity to ride the bike raves about it--without exception.

What's most significant is that Triumph's development team seems to be at least an equal to the best in the business. Over the last few years, rarely have they gotten anything really wrong. Pretty remarkable considering their size.

Questionable styling of the headlights has zero effect on how the bike rides and operates, which, by all accounts, is terrific. However, you can't remove the subjective effect of styling from the purchasing equation. It's an consideration, but not a deal breaker.

Exactly! Coincidentally, on the way home from a bike launch I had the pleasure of standing behind her at a baggage carousel at LAX for about 10 minutes. I saw no reason to change my vantage point.
