2011 Victory High-Ball Preview

I hate that f******* headlight, looks like a light fixture on some 1960's apartment building. In fact, the whole bike is out of proportion, because the frame is packed full of crap and you can't see through it, like a real bobber.

If I were in charge at Victory, the bike would have an IOE valve config, hairpin valve springs, exposed rockers and a hand oil pump. That, along with a tank shift & foot clutch.

You couldn't see enough of 'em if I WERE IN CHARGE!

Get rid of the Apehangers, de-style the overdone headlight a bit, and thin-down those mufflers...... and I kinda like it.

A few hours too damn early for that, for me.

I missed it by THAT >< MUCH havin' to work this weekend, too. Perhaps Ima drop by Billy-Bob's Beer-Gittin' Shack on the way home, get me some Dos Equis Dark or just some Old Milwaubbly or Keystone (the Beer in a plastic-lined can that tastes like Beer from a Mop-Bucket! Wouldn't that be Great?!) an' drink 'em 'til the Ol' Lady leaves me.......

It was a joke - I never drink piss like that, because it tastes like....... well, piss.....

Tonite I shall try something I have not yet had (and it isn't a Keystone). And then maybe chase it with a Blue Moon or twenty.

Keystone was $2.39 a twelve pack when it hit the shelves back in the day, under cutting the $2.99 competition. A welcome coors competitor to the cheap swill arena. My swollen liver remembers it as if it was yesterday, though for some of us MOrons it probably was...

Tonight's choice was Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar Ale. A brown, light-bodied ale - The Wife could smell the Hazelnut in it across the room within a second or two of cracking the cap.

Forms a nice, creamy Head and does indeed have a rich, nutty flavour, with only slight bitterness as you swallow, but a "sweetish" aftertaste. I just bought a Pint (well, 22oz anyway) to try out, but I believe I may buy a few more.....


I like it enough, I am certain to try out more of Rogue Brewery's line.

I'm with Matt. That thing is uglier than a bucket full of assholes. It looks like somebody shaved a dog's ass and taught it to walk backwards. If that was my bike, I'd wear two helmets, one facing forward, the other back, so I wouldn't have to look at it.
