Some great names for bikes, there.

Hey, nostalgia. I think those were all current bikes when I got into motorcycling as a teen. I remember reading the Madura review in Cycle World during class. I think they panned its "Wurlitzer styling."

That was the era of V-Four sportbikes and power cruisers - Interceptors, Magnas, Maduras... Since then, of course, that engine layout has only increased its well-deserved market dominance.

Jeezus, you youngsters and your wierdy named bikes......When I got into riding the hot bikes were Tridents, Rocket 3's, Bonnevilles and Gold Stars not to mention the Norton Commando, Moto Guzzi Le Mans and R90S even the XLCH Sporty ....Now those were some manly bikes there, no pansy 'lectric start, of none of that crap. Just 350 lbs of motor and a gas tank....

Well after looking at the two up pic of the GTL it looks like my fear may have come to fruition, no leg room. The old LT fit nicely where as the Goldwing had my knees in the dash before my aerostich knee pads were added to the mix. Been getting a hankering to add a touring barge to the garage and sell / trade the KRS for a couple of play toys. I really want another dual sport thumper and an older gxr 750 or the like for a track toy.
