Don't confuse the poor visitor. Well, we could turn this into a slam on Barry and go straight politics right in the middle of his thread. lol.

Nah, he emailed me directly and I gave him some ideas. He needs to decide if he wants to spend a week riding around the Keys, or bust up to Central Florida and ride there. Not much in between.

Thomas Jefferson wrote that the 1st Amendment erected a "wall of separation" between the church and the state (James Madison said it "drew a line," but it is Jefferson's term that sticks with us today). The phrase is commonly thought to mean that the government should not establish, support, or otherwise involve itself in any religion.

I'd pick the Keys.

Depends. The Keys are awesome, but there's really only 1 road, US 1. Once you've gone over the bridges a few times, you're done. Key West is fun if you're drinking heavily.

If you go up by Ocala, the roads and scenery are amazing. You can ride for days with all kinds of new things to see.

Trees. Hills. Curves in the roads. Animals. Rivers.

Stuff you don't see here.

You could land in Miami, pick up your bikes, drive through South Beach in Miami which is interesting to see and then drive slowly north along US1 or A1A. If in a hurry take I-95 for 3 hours or so which is ugly but faster since there isn't much to see between Miami and Titusville along the coast other than Condo's on the beach.

If you want to see real Florida Beaches Stop in Titusville and drive east over to Canaveral National Seashore.. Good parking area along Miles of pristine protected beachfront with no services, so stop before you go.. There is an entire run along US1 and A1A for this area to choose from. Click on the Map on the right side here for more info. Indian River Lagoon National Scenic Byway

Then go north from Titusville along US1 to just North of the Daytona area and do "The Ormond Beach Loop" Ormond Scenic Loop & Trail A Beautiful run and you will likely see other bikers as this is a popular ride loop.

Spend part of the day near Daytona and see the Worlds Largest Harley dealership which is really cool Daytona Harley-Davidson at Destination Daytona or the Daytona International Speedway. Nothing else IMO to see in Daytona.. seriously.

Then head West into the Ocala National forest area which is very pretty along this byway
Florida Black Bear Scenic Byway
Again, click on the map on the right side of the above web site page

Head back South through Orlando(Disney,Universal, Sea World etc) toward Miami any way that you want since there aren't any real scenic routes between Ocala and Miami.

From Miami, drive south to Key west on the overseas highway and tool around key west for a full day, maybe stay down there overnight and make it a 2 day max trip. Florida Keys Scenic Highway

Then drive back north from Keys and end in Miami to drop off the bikes.

Probably more than 7 Days, but I bet you could pull if off if you take I-95 north on day 1 from Miami to Titusville. And then from Ocala take I-75 south and the Fla Turnpike south back down to Miami.

There's nothing like the blue ridge parkway,... from what I've heard. I dont normally make it past the line (Jenningsgp).
Although it's probably nothing like what's up north past Florida we do have hills with blind curves and decreasing radius turns, up hill blind drop off straight a ways amoungst a host of other combinations. You just have to know where they are. I recommend Ocala, Gainsville, Howie in the hills, and Dade City just to name a few off the top. Check some of the Florida forms they can help. Welcome to Florida and remember this ain't the south pacific so when somebody tells you "just another day in paradise" they're from up north!
