Looks like more fun than a barrel of monkeys. I would love this with a big bore kit and all the usual enduro add ons. Perhaps KTM will release an off road version of it's new 350 MXer. That could rule. On the other hand, lightly used 250 2 strokes are available dirt cheap. They make awesome trail bikes and they are damn near indestructible.

The advent of FI on dirt bikes is a great thing, especially for me because of elevation changes which can go from 7,000 feet to almost 13,000. I am all for FI! Wondering if the "X" version has FI yet.

Bottom line is I really want a 350. The 450s are overkill, but something a little beefier than a 250 is nice when up high on the mountain. Coming down the hill though, a light bike like this (or the CR250 I ride) is the way to go. Light bikes like this feel like a video game when conditions are right. They are just such a gas
