$22,500 is actually reasonable for all that technology.

Is that 350 bikes for the US - or 350 Worldwide?
If 350 US, I predict that - even though this is a Technological Wunderkind of a bike, there will be 2011-models languishing in the showroom when 2012 (and mebbe 2013) rolls-around.......

" Don’t look at spectacular horsepower figures in 2011 because this Aprilia RSV4 Factory APRC SE will beat them all, hands down. Yes, it’s that good."
Total bull---t. The Aprilia was bottom of the pile this year along with the R1. the 2011 RSV4 will still probably be 30 bhp down at the rear wheel. No way will the fancy electronics make this up. |

BMW slaughtered everything. The RSV4 came bottom of the pile. even the KTM RC8R was quicker on track. The best riders can make best use of the horsepower even at the expense of mid range and fancy electronics. Electronics make it safer not necessarily faster. It helps the less talented riders get closer to those that have the ability that is all. The best riders have the skill and electronics makes little difference to ultimate lap times. |

The RSV4 you could buy even with a factory superstock engine was so slow and very heavy hence it was uncompetitive - fact. |

Well if you know anything about road racing its about what you put to the ground not just the highest horse power. Besides buddy it's not the bike it's the rider just like Kevin has mentioned. Show me any bike with the most hp and I'll show you a rider that can over come it with less, electronics or not.
