If I'm spending $50k on ANY bike the words Bimota better be stamped on it.

A Bimota is more up my alley, too, but no Bimota will get the amount of attention a V-REX will! However, the Italian bike will probably perform better down a canyon road.

Okay, I haven't even read the article yet. Nevertheless, I feel compelled to comment. That color scheme went out in the 1990's!!!

"Custom" paint means you can have it your way!

Aaahhhhh. That explains it! Perhaps that bike is owned by a former owner/investor of the Charlotte Hornets basketball team. The good news is that the color scheme will be "in" again in another 10-15 years.

As far as the bike goes, it certainly is an attention-getter.

Yeah that is a damn ugly paint scheme......I guess I wouldnt mind seeing one in matte black or graphite.....

Would have to agree. I like the original Rex for it's unique styling but this looks closer to a prop from 'Batman & Robin'. I can just see Mr. Freeze pulling away on this thing after a badly written punchline. =)
