Had it been a shootout between the smaller Duc 4 valve and the Triple. The difference between the duc 2 and 4 valves is huge, and it's no surprise that the 2 valve didn't fair well. That triple is sweet though, one of my buddies uses it as his track bike and I'm always shocked how well it performs. It accelerates in the straights similar to my Tuono, but handes better in the corners.

I've seen the Street Triple R at my dealer but have yet to ride one. Just from sitting on it i'd say that it would benefit from slightly lower bars. Bar end mirrors would look cool too.

In your graphics you mention "Speed Triple" instead of "Street Triple". It is mistake you see a lot in magazines as well.
I myself ride a Street Triple and it is the best Triumph I ever had. |

Good eye! We'll get that fixed up early next week. The Street Trip is also one of our faves!
