If you want to save about eleven thousand bucks, and have practically the same bike, get a low mileage 97 Trophy. You can even get in in blue.

They made Trophy's up until 2003, pretty much unchanged from '97 on. A set of Gen Mars and a Corbin seat makes them a Barcolounger to ride, add to that their bullet proof (but not car proof) design, light weight and locomotive torque and they are one of the most useful and fun motorcycles around in my humble opinion. I think Triumph really screwed the pooch in discontinuing them. At one time there were plans for a Connie 14 type replacement but they went with the Rocket 3 instead....

in my opinion,it is possible the high beam on the GT we had might have been aimed just a little high. Adjusting the GT's stock lights may help a little.

I just test rode one of these. Very Nice. Much easier to handle than my K1200s. I do have a couple of nits to pick though. The seat-tank junction needs to be better integrated and seamless, the heel guards on the footrests need to bend inwards a bit as they go rearwards and there needs to be a way to mount a gps at the front of the tank. I don't really like the way the bags move but that's not a deal breaker the other stuff would be.
