Hey Jeff, thanks for the updates. Maybe Dube saw the elec drag bike OCC is building and decided to turn up the juice. This should be good.

Surprised a burnout on the Brammo caused damage. Hope they plan on fixing that issue. Burnouts happen. The less intimidating the bike, the more likely someone is gonna try it.

Hey skadamo,

Come to think of it, he did mention OCC. Not sure what his plans are exactly.

I agree on your Brammo statement. Just to be clear, it is possible to light up the tire, but the breakage possibility is there too. It can set a fault code, or can damage components necessitating R&R.

If interested, here's the Enertia owner's manual. P. 78 shows how many trouble codes are possible -

Matt has forgotten more about motorcycles than anyone on this site ever knew.

You know how it is some folks were just born with a corn cob up their ass....

Matt's a Vet and he's probably pushed more bikes then half these youngsters have ridden. Show a little respect for your betters, son.

Get to know me first, then maybe I'll know where you're coming from. At this point, your play on my name is the only corniness I see.

A bit thin-skinned for a noob, aren't you?

Just as an FYI, by all accounts Motorcycle.com (via efforts by Editor Cobb) is likely the first publication on planet Erff to conduct an electric motorcycle comparison/shootout.

Hurray us!

Regardless of opinions (ours or otherwise) of e-bikes as even being motorcycles, or their viability in the current marketplace, it seems the motoworld at large is taking notice.

E-bike makers are cropping up regularly, and in light of this Motorcycle.com now has a specific section on the site dedicated to e-bikes.

You'll now find Electric located in the list of Categories of motorcycles, directly below the Manufacturers list on the left side of the homepage

Electrifying, innit?

Cheers!
